Chapter 10
Alien Abduction
Ufology, the belief in “aliens,” is practically a religion now; people give their
time to it, and money, and lives, and it shapes their very belief system. It sounds like
the following of a cult to me. This is a slippery slope for believers. God said nothing
to us about aliens, but He said much about wicked spirits and demons and fallen
angels. When you saw my chapter title, you probably thought I had lost it. But this
subject is worth mentioning here. To share it, I am being a true galaxy guardian as
you will find as you keep reading. I never hear born again believers talking about
being abducted by aliens. Hollywood has done much to propagate the hysteria known
as alien abduction. The subject was introduced and portrayed in a science fiction
television series, The Outer Limits, in the early sixties, and over the next several
months there were scores of reports about experiences of abduction, but only after the
episode aired on television. We have a highly suggestible society, with many who
crave attention, and with huge imaginations and, mostly demonic influence working
overtime.
Science has found no life out there in space or the Universe. The life is found
on earth, where God placed it. I wish science was interested in and passionate about
life in the woman’s womb. Man is God’s treasure and God loves mankind. “For God
so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) The world mentioned here
in the verse is planet Earth and its inhabitants. God would have us spend time
knowing Him and filling up our minds with His Word and promises, so that we are
full of His Holy Spirit and we walk in great faith. Ufology must be cast down as a
fantasy too dangerous to indulge in, and a distraction from true faith. Read what
Paul wrote: “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought
as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” (Corinthians 13:11)
We are called to be sober minded and vigilant because of our adversary, the devil. We
cannot indulge in childish pursuits and hope to get anything done for God in our lives.
There is a planet here of lost souls who need Christ and we, the Church, are their
answer.
In comic books and movies, the super heroes are always fighting aliens
invading earth. In our reality, and this natural world, we believers who are God’s
true guardians and tenders of the garden and the Body of Jesus Christ are to guard
against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places and walking this earth. “For we do
not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the
heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12) God shows us here who our enemy is and what
we guard against and this enemy is a defeated foe through Jesus Christ our Lord.
These are spiritual beings and not aliens. Our other area of vigilance we must keep
is over nature. If nature is out of control, it can take many lives before they can give
their hearts to Jesus Christ and be saved for Heaven. The first group, evil beings,
often control and manipulate the weather and the nature. But we believers move
fearlessly to confront and deal with God’s enemies in Jesus’ Name, to save lives and
put evil beings in check, which we are doing when we put in check nature as Jesus
did.
Now, back to alien abduction. I head a few years back the Christian testimony
of a man that was an investigator for MUFON. (Mutual Unidentified Flying Object
Network) He was sent to interview people who had UFO experiences or had reported
being abducted by aliens. This man became radically saved and gave his life to
Christ. As a new believer, his first intent was to walk away from his work and to
leave it all behind. But God spoke to him and told him to stay in the work. His name
is Joe Jordan, and he was saved in 1996. I ran across his testimony randomly online
as if God led me to it. I do not follow Ufology. Studying God’s Kingdom is what I do.
Why did God tell Joe to stay in the study of UFOs and alien abductions?
One time, Joe was interviewing someone who was supposedly abducted by
aliens. This person was a believer in Christ. This person told how as he was being
experimented on and probed and prodded and treated like a mere animal, he was in
great terror. Suddenly, it came to him to call on Jesus. He began to proclaim the
name of Jesus, and to function in faith, and the supposed aliens began to move away,
and then, finally disappeared totally. What???? Joe said that he was not the first
investigator or interviewer to encounter this occurrence in an abduction subject, as
other abduction investigators had heard it in their interviews too. However, these
interviews were being suppressed in the Ufology fringe science by the leaders of it,
and they scorned them as false. This is the same way that the liberal press acts like
the palace guard to a liberal President or candidate, and they act like a foreign
invader against a President with conservative values. The devil will not attack his
own house lest it be divided. No wonder God told Joe to stay in the fringe and false
science of Ufology.
Joe has founded the “CE4 Research Group”8 and has published much online about
terminating alien abductions right in the middle of them through faith in
Jesus Christ. (I terminated a night visit from a demon once using Jesus’
Name in the early 1980’s and I recorded the occurrence in my novel, Hungry Nation,
as an experience of the main character of that novel. I know exactly what Joe Jordan
found out, and I knew this before I ever heard Joe Jordan share that alien abductions
are demon encounters that can be stopped.) I would say Joe Jordan is a galaxy
guardian also.
This truth of terminating demonic and phony alien abductions in the name of
Jesus Christ speaks volumes to me of the depth and deception and evil that our
society has sunk to. It also, however, speaks to me of the hope and possibilities of
what can be done as we intercede and pray and bring the gospel to our hurting world.
How embarrassing for Ufologists to find out that people are stopping the
abduction phenomenon with Jesus’ name and power. How insightful that these
abductions are demonic instead of true aliens. How typical that the devil has the
majority of Ufologists not only deceived into believing that the aliens are beings from
outer space, but these same Ufologists are also, through cover up and suppression of
truth, protecting the demons in their efforts to attack people. If these were flesh and
blood beings, they would not disappear at the name of Jesus Christ. But they are
spiritual beings, oppressing and possessing people who may have opened a door in
their lives to them through dabbling in the occult, New Age, and demonic practices
such as witchcraft, Ouija boards, self-mutilation bondages, and maybe even ufology
itself. The answer is Jesus Christ. No wonder Hitler’s Nazis were obsessed with
UFOs and aliens and space flight; they were also absorbed in and huge practitioners
of the occult, seances, and black magic.
I see a prayer directive here, something for a true galaxy guardian to sink their
prayer teeth into. For one, that UFOs, aliens, and abductions be exposed to the world.
Then, that the abduction reports are stopped, and the demons and the devil can no
longer play this game to lead people into demonic delusion and ultimate possession
and bondage. Then, as we pray for evangelization of people everywhere, the glorious
light of the gospel will shine in and remove the blinders from their eyes, just as Joe
Jordan was finally able to see God’s truth too and then begin to lead and minister to
people to bring them out of the demonic bondage of alien abduction.
